Melting & Storage

  • Natural butters can meltĀ during travel, especially in hot climates (e.g., FL, TX, AZ, CA, GA, NC).
  • If melted,Ā refrigerate for 30 minutesĀ upon arrival to restore its solid form.
  • Our premium acrylic jars with a no leak disc helps toĀ prevent leaks, ensuring quality despite consistency changes.

Graininess & How to Fix It

  • In rare cases, melting & remelting can cause aĀ grainy textureĀ due to natural oil crystallization.
  • To smooth:
    1. Gently heatĀ in a microwave-safe bowl forĀ 10-15 seconds at a timeĀ until fully melted.
    2. Pour back into the container, refrigerate immediately, and allow to solidify.
    3. This does not affect the productā€™s quality or benefits.

  • We sincerely apologize we cannot replaceĀ orders due to melting or graininess, as it may recur.
  • WeĀ insulate and freezeĀ products before shipping to extremely hot regions.
  • If you live in a hot climate and prefer to avoid melting, try ourĀ liquid body and facial oilsĀ instead.
  • Keep water out! Our butters have aĀ 12-15 month shelf lifeĀ because they containĀ no water or preservativesā€” water without added preservatives can introduce bacteria.
